I love this passage. The role of grace is so important, it motivates everything we do as Christian people.

I read a part of a book today, The Reason for God by Timothy Keller, it says:
“Religion operates on the principle ‘I obey – therefore I am accepted by God’. But the operation of the gospel is ‘I am accepted by God through what Christ has done – therefore I obey’”

We are justified by God’s grace, therefore we do what is right. We don’t do it for selfish gain, but out of love of God.
